Devices brands · 5 brands reviewed

Beauty devices.

LED masks, microcurrent, hair tools, wearables. The most marketing-led category in beauty, and the most punishing for hardware that doesn't hold up. Glow reviews the five device brands we trust against the gap between claim and result.

The verdict Winner: Omnilux · Glow 9.3/10 · Read the brand profile →

How we tested

Six weeks, clinical evidence first.

Every device brand in this ranking was tested in-house by GLOW Editorial Team over a six-week panel. Each device went onto two skin types, one fair reactive, one mid-density resilient, and was photographed weekly under daylight and indoor warm light.

Devices are scored on the same five-axis rubric as formulations under GLOW Standard: efficacy, engineering, tolerability, value, distinction. Published RCT-grade evidence is weighted heavily; vague marketing claims discounted. Battery life, build quality and Australian after-sales service are scored against the AU$ retail price.

PR samples are accepted but carry no influence on rank or inclusion. Affiliate links may appear but are disclosed and never determine placement.
