The verdict

St Tropez wins on undertone. Bondi Sands on price.

On a blind test, St Tropez Self Tan Express produces a cooler, more olive-finished colour that photographs better and reads more 'naturally sunkissed' than Bondi Sands Pure, which leans warm-neutral. The difference is most visible on cool-toned skin. On warm-toned Aussie skin, where most of Bondi's customer base sits, Bondi wins on price-per-wear. Choose by undertone, not country of origin.
